Reading Task!

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog today I am going to be sharing a story that I have been reading about for reading. After I finished reading the book I had to do some tasks about the story. Here are the tasks I did

The author is Gima Cole. 

First of all! 
The story was about a girl called Shelley that is from Auckland but she moved to Fiji. She was going for a swim with her cousin Eddy And she had a little accident and she dropped her phone into the water because of something long that was black and white came towards her which was a water snake.

The first task that I did was I tried to at least find 20 keywords and then use it to make a word cloud. 
when I was trying to find the keywords I ended up with a bunch of feelings and emotions so instead of it being about keyword it's about feelings and emotions that the characters had.

The second task that I did was I made an animation on one of the texts that I read. The text that I did was when she was taking pictures in the water until she sees a water snake coming towards her and she drops her phone by accident in the water then she swims away it to the warm sand.

Reflection:
I really like this story And I give a 9/10 because Shelley the girl was too scared to go in the water to get her phone because of the watersnake but she was brave enough and overcome her fears and she jumped in the water and got her phone.

Would you jump in the water to get your phone if there was a water snake in the water?

Things to do when bored!

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog. Today I thought that I would share some things that I have been doing to keep me entertained while we are in quarantine. I thought that I would share this because you guys might be bored at home doing nothing.

Things that I have been doing:

• Going for a walk every day in the morning or afternoon.
• playing the piano and learning new songs. Right now I am halfway through learning how to play you are the reason. Here is a link to an easy piano Tutorial on how to play you are the reason. 
• playing outside going on my bike and doing some shots.
• Doing some drawing or colouring to relax your mind.
• Making origami Here is a link to a site on how to make different types of origami.
• Watch a movie.
• Baking So far me and my mum have made chocolate cake. Here is a link on how to make a chocolate cake.
• So there are some things that I have been doing, here are some things that I found on the internet.

Other things that you can do!

• Learn a new language and blog about it.
• Right a story or a song.
• Do arts and craft.
• Look through the old photo from when you were little.
• Write a poem
• Do some Yoga or meditate  
• Make a box fort or a blanket fort. 
• Do a 24 hours challenge
• You could play a board game 
• Facetime family and friends
• Read a book.
• Exercise.
• Take a nap.
• Organise your room or redecorate it. 
• Watch T.V.
• Create a bucket list.
• Play with your pets.

which of these lands is the biggest? Honshu is the biggest of them all and is referred as the main land of japan.

The population of 2020 is 126,476,461 people That is a lot.

The captial of Japan is Tokyo.

The population of Tokyo is 37,393,129.

Name Three other citys in Japan?

Three other citys of Japan are Sapporo, Nagoya, Kobe.

What is the name of Japans Tallest mountain? How tall is it?

The Tallest Mountain is mount fuji and its 3,776m high.

What is The currency of Japan?

The currency is Japanese yen.

• There are more then 1,500 earthquakes a year
• Fruit is one of the best gifts
• There are more then 3,000 Mcdonald restaurants

All about rabbits!

 Hi, guys welcome back to my blog today. I am going to be sharing some facts about 2 Different types of rabbits. Do you like Rabbits? I love rabbits, I have had rabbit sense 5. I got my first rabbit on my 5th birthday, and I still have rabbits today.

Here are just some simple facts about rabbits:

•  A female rabbit is called a doe.
• A male rabbit is called a buck.
• A young rabbit is called a kit (or kitten).
• More than half of the world's rabbits live in North America.
• Rabbits have long ears which can be as long as 10 cm (4 in).

lifespan: most rabbits in the wild only live for 1 -2 years.

Well cared indoor rabbits can live up to 7 - 10 years.

What is your favourite type of rabbit? My one of mine is a mini lop. They are really cute rabbits that have their ears hanging down.

I used to have a mini lop that was white with light brown spots. It looked like this.

facts about mini lops:

mini lops can weigh between 2.6lbs and 4lbs with 3.6lbs being the ideal. 

How big do mini lops get? mini lops should be around 1.5 kilograms or 3.3 pounds when they are fully grown.

At what age are mini lops fully grown? an adult mini lop should reach their adult weight at nine to ten months.

Mini lop rabbits can have up to 5 babies per litter 

mini lops can live up to 5 - 10 years.

Facts about Rex Rabbits

rex rabbits have round bodies with broad heads.

A female rex rabbit may have a skin flap under their chin.

rex rabbits have a short lifespan and they can live only up to 5-6 years.

How big do rex rabbits get?  rex rabbits are considered medium-sized bunnies. They can grow up to be 12 inches in length. the average weight is between 7 to 10 pounds.

rex rabbits can have lots of babies they can have 6 to 8 babies per litter whoa that is a lot of babies at once.

Poetic Writing!

Hi, guys welcome back to my blog today I am doing one of my tasks that the teachers have set us to do while we are in lockdown. So today I will be doing some poetic writing. hope you like it.

During the Holidays I liked spending time with family and friends while we had the time to.

During the Holidays I found some old photos of me when I was little.

During the Holidays I decided to watch lots of movies.

During the Holidays I disliked that we weren't allowed to go anywhere but at the same time, it was for our own safety.

During the Holidays I helped make dinner some nights with my parents and it was a lot of fun.

During the Holidays I felt happy that it was nearly my 12th birthday.

During the Holidays I saw the ice cream track come past our house lots of times.

During the Holidays I needed a lot of entertainment so that I wouldn't get bored.

During the Holidays I made some arts and craft things I felt like doing something fun

During the Holidays I stayed up very late because we watch a family movie.

During the holidays I played outside with my little cousin because it was a beautiful sunny day.

During the Holidays I thought that the time was very fast every day.

During the Holidays I fought 

During the Holidays I caught an insect that was inside my house and then took it outside.

During the Holidays I bought a lot of Snacks to eat.

During the Holidays I loved having 

During the Holidays I hated it when it was rainy because I couldn't go outside and have a little play.

During the Holidays I dreamt of having a sleepover at school.

During the Holidays I remembered 

During the Holidays I spoke a lot to my family when I feel lonely or when I need help.

During the Holidays I set up a fun game that I could play with my family.

During the Holidays I bet my brother if I could get more far away shots then him he gives me $15

During the Holidays I ate Fried chicken and potato salad at it was yummy in my tummy

During the Holidays I drank lots and lots of water to keep my hydrated.

During the Holidays I visited my cousins that were 1 -2 minutes away from where we lived.

During the Holidays I watched a movie called A dogs journey the movie had lots of mixed emotions.

During the Holidays I stopped going for long rides in the car.

During the Holidays I planned  a routine that I would do during Holidays/lockdown

During the Holidays I took some ideas from the internet on what I could do when I am bored.

During the Holidays I imagined what it would be like if dinosaurs still existed.
