Empathy!

Hi guys welcome back to my blog.  Today for kiwikaha we learned about empathy.  Empathy is when you go in other peoples shoes, and also when they full over you don't laugh at them you help them up.  Also we had to make a acrostic poem.  Here is my groups poem

Exciting news

Hi guys welcome back. Today I have some exciting news so last year at Hornby Primary school I was part of the Health team. This year I got some good news from Mrs scott our deputy principal told me that I was In the health promotion team and I was so happy to hear that because one of my best friends Risha became one to!. So next week the team has a forum to do on Wednesday I think. If you don't know what a forum is its when health teams from other school come and share there work with us and we also get to have lots of fun together and have food witch is the best part.

I am really excited and nervous at the same time. Here is our slide that we made for the day.

Hi guys welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to reflection on what we did on Tuesday. 

What sport were you presenting?

so on Tuesday we were presenting a sport to two groups. The sport we did was touch, and the other thing we had to do was change it up a bit. So we played turbo touch.    

what went well?

The thing that went well was most people joined in the game and did there best even if they did not wan't to play.  

What were the differences between your first session and your second session?

The first session we had with a group was good because people listened and joined in. But the second session was not as good because lost of people weren't listen and people weren't joining in to the game.

What modification did you group make, and why?
we didn't make any modification.

Reflection: am I a leader? why/why not?
I am not sure if was being a leader but in some point I did help some people out.

Reflection about Athletics Day

Reflection about Athletics Day.

Last week on week 6 we had Athletics day. we had two parts of athletics one part was social. social is like when you don't care what place you get, and the second part of athletics is competitive. Competitive is like when you care if you get a place a go to zones.   On Athletics day we got to dress up in our house colours. The colour of my house was green witch was shelford.

Here is the start of our chant because I don't know the ending.

Shelford is green Lewis is blue we are determined to beat you. Tuner is yellow setu is red we are  going to win for the houses are dead.

What is the project?

The project we are doing is collecting rubbish such as cans, plastic and bottle caps from our community and making art.

What is the purpose?

The purpose is clean up Hornby and the environment and then making art. 

How much rubbish do you think we are going to collect? 
why do you think that?
 I think we are going to collect lots  of rubbish because at lunch time and morning tea I see lots of people littering. 

what colours do you think we will see the most? why?
I don't no what colour we are going to find the most but I think we are going to find  lots of white and black. I don't know why I think that.

what type of art would you like to create?

I would like to create a rabbit or a follower.

Hi guys today I am going to Reflect on our community impact project. So far today we have chosen a art work that we have decided to make with rubbish. The three mean options that we had was the big H that stands for Hornby, the second options we had was writing positive messages and the last one was making a statue of a native bird. The one that we agreed on was the third options witch was the native bird. The reason most of us picked native birds because lost of birds get killed. Here are some photos of birds.
